"He's much more responsible than you. I mean he's been busy doing the cleaning, cooking and the laundry. What have you been doing?"
Linda was surprised. "But you to!d me that I shouldn't worry about those things."
Rebecca nodded. "True but there are other things that you could do around the house. Instead of looking at your tablet all day."
"Like what?" Linda asked.
"How about picking up after yourself at least? Or offering to help. Jon is taking care of them, but you've acted like you have no responsibilities anymore. Zoe is helping out because she wants to, not because she has to."
"But..." Linda protested.
"But...I suppose if you don't want to have any responsibilities, Linda...you shouldn't be surprised if Jon has more authority...because he is following through."
