Jon nodded. Miss Fine was right, maybe he should help out a bit more. His mom walked into the room.
"Hey mom?" He asked.
"Yes, sweetie?" Linda asked.
"Is there anything I can do for you?"
"Well, I was just about to gather the laundry..." She said. "But I thought you had a headache."
"The aspirin helped," he said. "But I'll take care of the laundry."
"Are you sure you know how?"
"Don't worry," Jon said, leaving the room.
"Did you just talk Jon into doing the laundry?" Linda asked Miss Fine.
"No, of course not. I did mention how hard you work and that it would be nice if he showed you he appreciated you," the woman told her.
"He never listens to me about helping out," Linda said, sitting down again.
"Well, I am a professional," Miss Fine said, smiling. "But, now that Jon is helping out, maybe you need to learn to relax a bit...it will be good for you."
