Jon knew Tina, but not very well. He knew that her mom, Katie, and Nadine's mom, Laura were always protesting about some indecency.
While Nadine seemed to think she was fighting the good fight against the evil sins in this world personally, Tina, while just as prudish, was certainly not as aggressive and probably would keep to herself if Nadine wasn't egging her on.
No Sarah McMillan seemed to have a big impact on his school. Tina didn't seem to be as polarizing a figure. She'd been replaced by Zoe...for some reason.
He finally found Tina. She was strapped to a gurney and several of the workmen seemed to be tending to her. They seemed to be working on her. He couldn't see everything they were doing, but he could see them working on her hair.
He thought back to Sarah. She had a different hair color and style now then before. They were preparing Tina for something new. But what?
