Jon paused, remembering that vague wish he made for something interesting to happen. Maybe that's what his wish did. Maybe he inadvertently created a new reality where Karyn and a bunch of unpopular girls were now the elite members of the popular crowd. If that was so, what else was different?
"Jon, are you paying attention to me?" Sarah said.
"What?" He said, distracted.
"Honestly, Jon..." Sarah said, pacing. "What's wrong with you? Is it me?" She asked. "Do you want to break up with me?"
