According to the note, the sword could transform people by merely stabbing them. Chloe switched the rotary dial to her desired setting, and then, after lifting up the T-shirt she slept in, plunged the sword into her belly.
It was a strange sensation - it didn't hurt, but there was a feeling of pins and needles where she stabbed herself. Carefully, Chloe pulled the sword out, and observed the open wound. Instead of bleeding, it was glowing the same neon as the katana's blade. While it closed up, the glow spread all around her body, until she was neon all over.
Chloe pressed the button, and while she was interested in testing out what she could do now, her neon glow had gone away, much to her disappointment.
