"Fine, I'll help you," Sorrow told Alana. "But I think they seem to be enjoying themselves much more without worrying about why they are fighting all the time."

Alana looked at her. "Don't you think I'd love it if they stopped fighting for once? It is driving our family crazy. But you're just putting off the inevitable. My dad already has his own place...and they're on their way to a divorce." She paused, and looked at Sorrow curiously. "Why do you mess with people?" She asked.

"People need to be messed with," she said, being as sincere as she was capable of being. "The world is full of uptight, repressed zombies who forgot how to have fun, if they ever knew how. Hypnotic suggestions aren't permanent. Either you like the new you, and it changes your life, or it wears off, and you remember having a crazy fun day and you have a Death Pew t-shirt or CD as a memento." She paused, looking over at Alana's parents. "And clearly...those two, whatever they are fighting about, are still hot and heavy for each other."

"Well, snap them out of it."

Sorrow gently walked over to the couple. Alana could hear her speaking in that soft voice, and apparently doing however many other things to soothe them. She told them that they should go home, and have a wild night of fun, and they would wake up in the morning feeling wonderful...preferably together, and with no memory of what happened.

"Happy?" She said, as Alana's parents hurried out. "Maybe you'll get a little brother out of it or something."
