Sarah gave her boyfriend Biff a rather passionate kiss, then moved to find her girlfriends. She started to move toward her circle of friends, standing on one side of the room, but instead started off in a different direction.
She looked down, confused. She was suddenly wearing a cheerleading uniform...she had one..but she usually didn't wear it outside of practice, preferring her own clothes.
She had something to do, and she moved with purpose until she hurried straight into Zelda Whitefield, her friend and head cheerleader, to tell her what the coach had just... Wait, I wasn't just talking to the coach, was I? Sarah thought.
Zelda actually screamed at her, for no particular reason. It wasn't easy being the most popular girl in the school, she imagined. She paused as she said that. Something sounded wrong about that thought...but she wasn't sure what. Everything was exactly the way it had always been, wasn't it?
She moved to her normal position, next to Zelda, as they headed back into the school. As they entered, Sarah looked around for the rest of the squad...and blinked. Her friends weren't together, like they'd been when she passed through looking for Zelda. They were scattered around the room...
Something was definitely wrong.
