"I just wanted to call and say thank you" it was Miss Holloway on the line.
"For what?"
" For doing your part to help the team, the others are very grateful, you made life much easier for all of them by making that wish that you just did, less conflict this way."
"wait, what happened?" Karyn replied shocked.
"Oh, I guess you'll just have to find out, see you at practice?"
'Yeah, of course." Karyn said with slightly more enthusism than she had intended.
"Good, be a dear and pick up who you can on the way, not all of them can drive you know."
"Sure thing."
"Such a team player."
Then Ms. Holloway hung up.
Jon was looking at her strangly.
"who was that?"
" Coach" was the word that she said...."Holy shit...I'm on the team....we are all on the team...Oh no what have I done?" She threw the stone out the window in horror.
"Shit, Karyn! I think it landed in a bunch of rocks. It'll take forever to find!"
Karyn had run to a mirror. She had to know if anything had changed about her....She looked, she seemed the same. No major changes that she could see. She imagined the girl in the mirror in a cheerleading outfit, her hair done up, make up, and suddenly she smiled. A smiled that immeadialty horrified her. She ran away from the mirror...she'd have to check on the other girls...see the damage she had done....also she didn't want to be late to practice.
