"I don't want to play house anymore."
"Playing House?"
"Where I'm the Mommy," she said, innocently. "I want to watch cartoons, and Mommys don't watch cartoons."
"What do Mommys do?" He said. He wasn't quite sure what was wrong with her.
"They take care of you and read you a story before bedtime. They make sure you pick up your toys, and help you take a bath, and lay out clothes for you. All sorts of stuff. Then, they watch The News on TV," she adopted a serious and low voice when saying 'The News'.
"Well, then we're going to watch the News," he said, sternly. "Because you're the Mom."
