Miranda was out for a run. This had been her custom for all of her junior year, and she didn't see any reason to change it. Running with boobs was a little harder, but she knew to wear the right stuff, she had been around the gym enought to know the practically of a sports bra. She was the jock of the group, though that carried less glory with it than it had before, she enjoyed being in shape, enjoyed the ephoria that can with running, and she had a runners body, long and thin and lanky. As she ran she didn't have to think, it was pure focus on the goal of moving forward. This was how she thought about most of life, focus and move forward, one step at a time. She reflected after the run that life didn't have to be that different than it was before. She was a football player before, now she would be a cheerleader, she would still be on the field, she would still have soical status at the school, just from the other side of the stands. Still there lacked a certain challenge in cheering, she would probably want to add another sport, something that allowed for compitition, she wanted to be a winner, Maybe she would take up girls rugby in the spring.
There was one thing that Miranda had come clear with though over the course of her run and morning. She didn't want to be called Randi, Randy was the other her, you could call her Miri, or Anda, but she was a different person than she was before, and she wanted to keep that line. Before the meeting at the mall even started Miranda called Sarah to let her know those two things. She would join the team, and never to call her Randi. Sarah was pleased.
