I chose I a zweihänder. I did not usually use two handed weapons for this character, but the "rule of cool" demanded it. He smirked and knelt on the ground. He pat the ground under him twice gently. The sword then sprouted from the earth. The hilt and guard was a large green stalk. The hilt was also covered in brown thorns. The metal was cool to the touch and five closed yellow rosebuds were etched into the broad sides of the blade. I really did need to use both hands to wield it. Even then it was a bit heavy. "This holy weapon will only answer to you and will become stronger with the more you kill in a combat." Yellow told me. I nodded and bowed to him. "I will make you proud." He smiled and said "I already know." He then disappeared. I took the blade and put it on my back with a holster. I equipped my rapier as we left the village. I knew this was the end of Dovi Island's usefulness for me. Lovin Island was where the other Protector- Black Ops members had self exiled to. It was just three of the big islands away. Luckily, we could get ferried over there by the locals of the island.

Since it was a large journey to get past the three islands, we had to stop at each island and wait a day for them to go about their scheduled routines. We even needed to find another boat when we were stuck on Jinai Island. It did give us time to go to an inn and find information on the Protectors. They had been on the island recruiting for the invasion. They seemed to have gotten a sizeable army as they got about 25 men from each of the islands. I knew that there were fifteen of various size that made up the archipelago of Erhmagerd. With a large enough army, they could at least have a chance at providing a distraction for the island. The Sages were deities and would not be easy to defeat. That being said, Limerick Jill, was not a popular Sage. Due to the draconian lockdown as well as the failure to stop the Devils or the war between mermaids and the island, both the NPCs and the Players were complaining. Lance Quaid had forbid Sages from ruling the cities they were assigned to. He also coded the bards and criers to act as the press. They were decrying her every chance they got.

Not only that, the mismanagement effected the Players negatively. Certain quests and quest givers were not allowed to talk to Players because of the strict lockdowns. I also heard that certain characters and Players would get arrested or killed suddenly in the night by the guards. I knew Daniel was also a victim of this. Players certainly did not like being forced to be locked down either. It was still early in the game, so there were still not that many. It was a fluke that I was there in the first place. That did not stop them from posting about it on the forums and getting lots of attention. So much so that others would go and try to investigate. Apparently, all of the higher up defecting Protectors and my party caused other the Sages to get involved as they were way too effective at altering the trajectory of their territory. Case in point being the ruckus over the shrine and the crusade. I did not even notice, but they had influenced in the shadows things to both start and stop when things got away from their desired outcomes. It might not need to succeed in order for the invasion to depose her.

There was so much going on. Limerick Jill might be sacked if more people ran out of confidence in her. Lance Quaid could certainly step in if he wanted to. The last we heard they had left for Pollo from Lovin Island more than a week ago. I still wanted to go see what would be the result. The next day, we got on a boat to Lovin. We got in the harbor and went to the nearest inn. As we approached, there was a pair yelp as a young woman stormed out. A pair of drunkards were clearly harassing the woman as she tried to get away from them. I decided to intervene. I was a knight after all. I stepped between them and said "I think you two should leave her alone now. You two have had your fun. You aren't the type to take things too far." The looked me up and down before glaring at me. "This whore is a witch! We were just telling her how we felt!" one of them said as he pointed to her. "Yeah! If I didn't say something, she would have cursed the whole inn with tainted food and drink." the other said with a slight sway. She was clinging onto my back and trembling. She was terrified of them.
