He lifted his hands and a large root rose from the ground there was a leafy pouch that Yellow plucked from the end and held out to me. "Take these seeds and plant them in Neso Village to the north of here. One of their corrupt villagers polluted this garden. They murdered a family here and left the bodies to rot. They were killed because they believed in us and not the Church of the Moon. Apostacy is a crime to serious crime to them. That doesn't do anything for me, but I am insulted that they would bring them here to murder. With that being the case, I will have my revenge on them. Once you plant the seeds and ensure that they are all punished, you may return. I will then make a holy weapon for you." he instructed. There was a cruel shine to his eyes. "How will I know they have been punished? Is your sentence... death to all the villagers, Lord Yellow?" I asked for clarification on the task at hand. "Yes, it is. Will you do this for me, Master Paladin, Sir Canan Hawks?" I never gave him my name, but he was a deity of my religion. I nodded my head and took the seeds. I really wanted the weapon.

With all the seeds in hand, we left the garden. The deity waved us off until he unilaterally decided to disappear. We looked at where he used to be. Zeta just shrugged at me and said "Let's go." It was what we were told about by the city priest. Having that in mind, I sighed and began to walk. I was unsure how the seeds would bring death and destruction on the village. Yellow was very serious in his desire to kill them. I saw it in his eyes. Whatever was going to happen to those people, Zeta and I were both explicitly instructed to ensure that no one survived. Zeta followed me on the walk to the village quietly. "Are you okay with this?" I asked him. He stopped and raised an eyebrow. "What do you think a Protector- Black Ops does? This is what we are made for. Can you handle it? You're kind of flaky when it comes to things like this." he put the ball back in my court. That made me stop and think for a minute. It was just a game, so I was sure that I could do it if I tried. I nodded and continued walking. Zeta hugged me from behind. "You better put this broad back of yours to work. I'm back up." he scoffed.

Neso Village was a small one. It was home to about 20 houses. Only about 73 people lived there. Because of that, it was not a difficult thing to walk directly to the center and plant the seeds. People obviously noticed us do it, but there was nothing they could do to stop us from doing it. An elderly man came over and introduced himself as the village elder. With him was his son, the village chief. I asked them for water and they looked confused. A moment passed before the chief sent someone to get it. It fell to some children to run out of sight. After ten minutes, a bucket was fetched from the well. I thanked them as I gently poured the water on the dirt where we buried the seeds. We felt a groaning before felt tremors in the ground. "What did you do!?" the chief said as he drew a dagger. As he said that, an arm broke through the surface. I jumped a bit. We all watched transfixed as Yellow crawled out of the ground. When he was out, he pointed to the chief and elder. "You allowed a good family to pollute the Garden of Joy because of apostacy. You will pay for this sacrilege with your lives." he decreed.

Yellow then drew a ring blade and began attacking. Yellow was a level 269 Hostile avatar. That was way over what even Zeta could do. It was very clear that our job was to kill those that tried to escape. We stood at the exits to the village and butchered them. Men, women, and children died on our blade. I though the punishment was a bit harsh, but that was what Yellow wanted. "Never anger a deity." I muttered to myself. It obviously was bad for one's health. When the final scream had been cut short and village was quiet, Yellow appeared before us. We bowed in front of him. He seemed pretty chipper after such a brutal massacre. "Thank you for allowing me to take my judgement on them. I could not have done this without you." That did not make me feel good. I kept a blank look on my face to keep from offending him though. I did all of this for a reason, after all. He smiled warmly at us and let us stand. He placed his hand on my shoulder and asked "I am well pleased with you, Sir Canan Hawks. You have done well. What kind of weapon would you desire from me, master paladin?" I thought on it.
