After I told him about the problem, he face palmed and called in a sweep of the area. We went back to the lab and watched over Percy. "There was a bit of a breakthrough while you were gone. I think he's trying to reboot. That allowed me to progress as his systems are not fighting me as much. He must be prioritizing booting up. "Can you stop it? We don't want someone with are cannons to wake up." I said. Percy looked at his screen and said "I do not think I can stop it. He's already at 47% right now. Even if I could, that would mean not being able to penetrate into his systems. That's when we can take control of them." I shrugged. I trusted him to know what he was doing with the cyborg. I looked over at Captain Whitaker and showed him the files I managed to get. He took them and said "You have done your country a great service. Do you think we will be able to utilized cyborgs of our own? It would be good to fight fire with fire." I did not know the answer. "Once we figure out what we are dealing with, we can tell. You need some really good blueprints or great engineers for this." I answered.
Just then the door busted open and we saw three soldiers carry in the missing cyborg. He was in another lab trying to fix himself. We rolled a mini EMP into the lab and shut him down for a bit. He's not going anywhere." one of them said as they set it down. We strapped him down and attached him to the machines as well. He was still awake and aware. The cyborg was just immobilized. After an hour the immobilization began to wear off. The cyborg began to try and move. It was no use. He just groaned as he looked around the lab. Captain Whitaker began to question him. The second was cyborg woke up as well ten minutes later. He also looked sharply around the room for any clues he could get. "You shits are a long fucking way from Ocarro. If you wanted to say hi, you could have sent a letter in advance." the captain said. A moment passed before XB-24 said "Where are we? This is not a military lab." The other cyborg said "XB-24. Quiet." "XB-22? You didn't flatline?" the first cyborg seemed awfully chipper as he said it. Percy groaned in frustration. "Shit! He kicked me out!" Percy hissed.
XB-24 smirked. "Like a loser from Conion could breach my tech. It's way put of your league." he gloated. Percy hung his head before turning to me. "I am so sorry about this, David. I was not able to breach the deepest parts of his internal programming. I know you were looking forward to it." I told him it was okay. Each of the labs ran on its own servers to keep breaches and hacks to a minimum. Neither of the androids would be able to gain much info from the machines they were plugged into. "What were you able to get?" I asked. "I was able to get a hold of his weapon systems and some protocols for "auxiliary plating". I am not sure what that means." he said. He then took a sigh and said "If I was a little quicker, I could force open his chest cavity. We would be able to see what was inside." He was disappointed. "Don't fucking kid yourselves!" XB-22 said. I looked at Percy and asked if he could demonstrate it for us. He nodded and began typing at his keyboard. After a minute, he plugged my phone in with a cord and an app was installed. I could disable the cannons, the plating and joints.
Using the app would come in handy with interrogating them. "Does it work for both of them?" Percy nodded. "They were both hooked up to the machines so I made sure that it would work on both." I looked at the app and saw that I could switch which of the cyborgs I was affecting. XB-24 had black text on a white background. It was white text on a gray background for XB-22. Captain Whitaker looked at him for a moment and said "If that's all, you may go. Like you just said, you will just be dead weight." "Excuse me. Please do not dismiss my assistants. Percy can stay. Don't you think they will want to know what was done in the first place?" I said. He just groaned as he looked at one of his soldiers. "Fine. Grant these three clearance." he said. The others saluted. Rusty came up to me and said "This doesn't sit right. These fuckers are going to need a whole squad to move them out of here."
