My aim was not the best, but even I could see what the problem was. They were really fast and strong. I was really confused. I did not do anything to piss off such higher leveled enemies. The gangs were not this strong. Even if these were the high ups, they would not be this powerful. Something fishy was going on. I was going to need to deal with it after this encounter was over. I threw myself into my saferoom and stayed in their for ten minutes. I heard bangs and blasts against the door, but it was no use. I paid top dollar for top notch security. After the ten minutes were up, the hall in front of the door was clear. I reloaded my gun and walked out into the hallway after a quick check down the hallway in both directions. There were still enemies out there. I had to find them first and put them down before they could do the same to me. My shotgun was ready for action. I checked all the rooms on the first floor and saw they were cleared. That was pretty nice. I heard some more gunshots and groaned. I need to help out the others. If they all died, it would be bad for me. I would have to fight alone.
I took out the dessert eagle I had and fired it. I had to hold out for a bit longer. I ran upstairs and saw Rusty was being pinned to the ground by one of the assailants. The goons were all wearing dark clothes covering up their entire bodies and another charged me. I shot them and he went down by the time he got to me. I could see the catboy and the Adamu woman androids had also been destroyed. The parts where splayed across the hallway. I was subdued from behind by another one of the goons that was following me. They were too strong for me to struggle out of their grasp. One of them stood in between us and said "Target acquired. Status Report." He must be the leader of this squad. The one holding Rusty down said "XB-24, XB-22 and XB-23 are downed. Combat droids and this one intercepted us during breach." The leader just sighed. He said "XB-26 is downed. Same." The one holding me said "What are the directives now? You were the one given the mission." "We do a full sweep and copy every computer in this house. We then wipe everything and torch the house." he said.
Rusty said "Who the fuck are you!? No way you're from this city!" as he struggled again. The goon holding him knocked him out with a punch to the temple. He smirked at me cheekily and said "I'll go for the sweep. Don't let all my hard work go to waste and let them get up." Things were really looking rough. Luckily, it took too long and the Booty Bangers came in for back up. There was a shootout in the house. On our side, there were ten soldiers as well as Cheetah. The tree good remaining were able to hold there own, but one of them was killed. "Retreat!" the one who knocked Rusty out said and the two barreled out of the house. Cheetah was able to rescue us. The remaining two soldiers helped rouse Rusty. I took off the masks and saw that they were all young teenagers. That explained the height. When I tried to lift one and found that I can't, I got curious. I said "What type of armor are they packing?" to myself. I took off their hoodie. They were an android. I saw the titanium plating and the black silicon that made up its body. This was a great find. I just needed to plug one of them in to find out more.
