Looking at Miracle he smirked and said "I have a suitcase. I need this to be place in a drop zone. It is a yellow dumpster behind the hotel in South End. Open up the dumpster, throw this in, take whatever is inside, snap a quick pic and come back. I will pay you for it. You know I'm good for it, man. Like always, not to get seen by cops or the other gangs. This isn't the good stuff, but people will want it, for real dude." That was not too much of a tall order for a first mission. Emilio said "I'll do the dumpster one. You better show me those new drawings you're hiding." That made Miracle perk up. "Emi! My main man!" he said. before ducking under the table. "If you hurry back, you can watch me do the tat." Nicolò scoffed and said "That's boring. I wanna be a made gangster and be in a faction. You got to do something big for that. Isn't that right Brandon?" Brandon shrugged. "If you want to go that route, you'll be chasing an early grave. You're not wrong though. Getting noticed doing good work will get a foot in the door... if you can keep the other out the coffin." Nicolò nodded happily at him.
Two options were in front of me. I could go with either and do the job. Since it was my first job, I wanted to get the easy one over with. I was not actually interested in any faction. I wanted to have my own. That meant I was going to go with Emilio. "You two better not ask me for any favors when I get big!" he snapped at us hide his disappointment and anxiety that he would be alone. Brandon reached over to ruffle his hair. "I can call Matteo to go with you if your scared. You don't need to piss yourself out there." "Hell no! Matteo never came back to see us after he got big. I'm not asking him for help!" Nicolò said as he slapped the hand away. Brandon chuckled as he gave him the briefcase. Miracle handed me a camera and Emilio the suitcase. "You can do it, little dudes. Wait... I guess you'll be regular dudes if you pull this off. I can teach you stuff when you get back." he added as he looked closer at us. We nodded. Brandon stood up and rolled his shoulders back. "I'll give you the equipment for your jobs. Follow me." he said. He took us to the back and gave us each a handgun and ammo.
A bit of times passed as he showed us how to aim and reload the guns. I watched and waited until I was able to go out. Now that I had the gun in my hands, I was going to be good from now on. As we all left the tattoo parlor, it was in the afternoon. I just sighed. Nicolò said "If you were going to complain about it, you should have came with me." "There is nothing wrong with our job. We get to help Miracle out and make some money as well. We also won't have to deal with gangsters trying to do crazy shit to us." Emilio said. Nicolò waved him off and said "You want to be a gangster, right Martino?" I nodded. "You have to know where to go and when to strike. You will end up in jail or dead if you mess up to badly." Nicolò frowned. "You think I don't know that!" He sucked his teeth and began to sulk. "You know what? Whatever. I need to get this done." he snapped as he raised the briefcase. He turned and went towards Star district. We were going to the South End district. Emilio was in my party. The two of us then walked over to the district. It took us half an hour to get to the mafia hotel.
Getting over to the alley with the yellow dumpster was easy. We opened it and there were two briefcases. Emilio took them out and chucked the suitcase inside. I quickly equipped the camera I had and snapped the picture. We closed up the dumpster and began walking out the alley. That was when two thugs came and looked at us. That was the low tier mob character. "Where the fuck do you think you're going!?" one said. "We're just leaving." I said confidently. The second thug said "Not with those two suitcases. I'll take those of your hands." I had the option to try and persuade them to let us go or immediately begin combat. "Hey. Miracle sent us. You know him." The two shared a look before saying. "Red Light junkies need to stay out of our turf. Maybe sending you home in body bags might send the message." That was pretty much a clear fail on the check. There was no choice but to fight the thugs if we wanted to get out alive. I had the highest initiative and Emilio had the least of the four of us. We had a real gap in that stat. He had higher Persuasion than me. That meant that I was going first.
