Since I had the additional ten skill points, I could dump it all into a stat. That would instantly make me a master in a field. I decided that Marksmanship would be the way to go. That was the stat that determined my proficiency with guns. Not only could I unlock the use of more powerful guns, but the hit chance and critical damage chance would rise with it. I immediately put the ten skill points in there. That unlocked perks right away. I also had the choice between certain personal skills. I unlocked the use of rifles at skill point four. Skill point six gave me access to submachine guns. Point nine was for machine guns. Point one gave me a 10% bonus chance to hit on all my guns. The second point was for an added 5% crit chance. My third skill point allowed me to pick the perk where my bullets afflicted extra bleeding damage. Five points in and I picked the "Return Fire" ability. It allowed me to get an instant reaction to shoot back at someone that shot me in range of my gun. "Double Tap" allowed me to shoot a target twice using one of my two action points in a round of combat. I got it at seven.

With eight points, I could reload fast enough to not need to use and action point. For filling the bar, I got a really good skill. "One in the Chamber" gave me the awesome ability to open every turn with an attack with my gun that did not count towards my actions points regardless of the gun I was using. As long as I had a gun in my hand, I was going to be good. I still had five more skill points to place. I put one in Persuasion, Leadership, Strength, Endurance and Initiative. That gave me 10% bonuses to trade acceptance, member upkeep costs, chance to hit with melee attacks, health, and initiative. I smiled and was going to go when I was called by two younger boys. It came from the street. Their names were Emilio Pecchia and Nicolò Rodi. They were wearing dirty wife beater t-shirts and ripped pants like me. The yellow roses on their shoulder told me they were in the same group I was in for the game background. I was 17 years old, but it seemed that they were about 14 or 15. "We got to go. Miracle and Brandon wanted to see us. We can't keep them waiting too long." Nicolò said.

I nodded and checked the encyclopedia. I wanted to know who they were. Miracle and Brandon were tattoo artists that worked in the Red Light district. They were a well respected duo by the factions in the area. Apparently, the two of them gave us the tattoos because they had a soft spot for kids. Brandon was a good fixer for people who needed things done quick and on the low. Miracle was not only an artist but a drug manufacturer. They were a source for easy jobs and the tutorial characters for the background I had. Miracle was a hippie wearing a Hawaiian shirt and long stingy hair. Brandon was a punk with a blood red mohawk and multiple face piercings. It was a very unlikely pair. They were sitting at the front desk. They looked pleased to see us. "Took you long enough." Brandon snorted. "It's fine." Miracle said to him before he turned back to us. "Emi, Nico and Mar. You are going to be grown up soon. They're going to get busy like us." Emilio and Nicolò playfully rolled their eyes at the nickname. Emilio said "You wanted to see us. What's going on?" Brandon looked at Miracle.

Brandon narrowed his eyes. "You better not be putting them up for that fucking job of yours." he warned. Miracle's eyes widened. "No way, man! That's a job for the pros and even then it's pretty hardcore. I have another little errand for the little dudes to run for me." "What errand!?" Brandon asked. "It's because I'll be doing that one. I can't be two places at once, dude." Miracle said. "You have a guy coming in for a tat in an hour!" Brandon snapped at him. Miracle tilted his head in confusion. Recognition sparked in his eyes and he let out a loud "Oh!". Brandon glared and he sheepishly place a hand on his head. He winced and said "Musta just slipped my mind. Looks like we really do need to borrow the little dudes." "I can't believe you sometimes." was all Brandon had to say. He then turned to us and said "Since you three are here, I could use you as well." He took a deep breath and said "It's okay to say no. I need someone to bring this briefcase to the Star and wait for a man from The Gold Pincers to come take it from you. Be really careful not to get seen by cops or the other gangs."
