Sarah wasn't sure what was going on. But she knew she needed to talk to Holly Simpson.
And this whole...everyone treating her like just another student was weird. She had never given much thought to how much it might bother her to just be...one of the crowd.
By the time lunch came around, she was visibly bothered by the whole thing and feeling a bit jumpy. She waited on line to buy food, watching how her old friends and this Holly person just skipped past them.
Then, they sat down at her usual table, laughing about something. Sarah watched them, imagining what she would do when she finally confronted this villain.
And then she got her chance as Holly headed toward the bathroom.
Holly wasn't drop dead gorgeous like Sarah saw herself. She was attractive in a girl next door kind of way. So why was everyone suddenly in love with her?
