"Yes, Mr. Winters," she said, picking up her bag and heading out of the room. Lonna still felt disoriented, as if something was missing. She'd felt that way ever since she'd bumped into Ms. Rodriguez. No one seemed to notice that she was dressed so casually.

As Lauren watched the students flood out of the class room, she saw some smile and others avoid eye contact. It didn't bother her that some of them didn't like her. She'd just been trying to get them to pay attention and learn something...she paused at the thought. Had she gotten a bit more into the role than intended? She sat down in the chair , sitting comfortably. The outfit was growing on her. She felt like it made others treat her with more respect.

She looked at the lesson plan she'd been following on the desk, and the book with the seating chart for the class and frowned, suddenly realizing something. It was her handwriting. She reviewed what had occurred. She'd made a foolish wish, she'd suddenly..." She frowned. She rooted around in the drawers of the desk, curiously, finding a satchel. She opened it. Keys, some papers, a lanyard with an ID on it. She pulled that out. It was a school ID, but with the red teacher coloring instead of the blue student color. It showed her picture, with the notation, "Lauren Rodriguez, Chemistry."

She frowned. "I'm the chemistry teacher...and that means..." She tried to remain calm...which was oddly easy. She continued rifling through the bag and found a wallet. Driver's license in her name. Picture was hers, height, weight, eye color...but while the day of birth was correct...the year was not. It should have been 2003, 17 years earlier. Instead, it said 1986, making her 34. "I have to find Lonna," she said, starting to get up. But then the bell rang and students started to file in....leaving her trapped. She couldn't run out on her class, could she?

Lonna walked through the hallway. "Lonna," one of the other girls called, "come in, you don't want to be late again" She followed the voice and ended up in another classroom. The teacher seemed to be expecting her.
