"I expected better of you," Athena said, before walking away with the device, not even realizing how dangerous it was.
She returned to the library, taking a sip from a bottle of water sitting on her desk and examining the device. It had some buttons on the side, but otherwise looked like the toy ray gun she was certain it was.
It didn't look like a real gun, but rules were rules. The fact that Karyn didn't seem to be aware of it was the only reason she'd let her off with a warning. She could have sent her to detention.
