We cut down wave after wave of men as archers shot at us from below. Casualties were staking up on both sides. We were always outnumbered and out classed from a logistics perspective from the very beginning. However, having Zeta, Eta and myself on the field was like a woodchipper that just destroyed everyone we came across. It was just that we were massively overpowered compared to the rank and file soldiers. Zeta and Eta even more so. The Death Knights were doing the same against our men. When the last wave of 20 men were defeated, a lone Death Knight came up the ladder on his own. He was an archer that had been sniping off most of the men on the wall. The men were waiting for him at the top where the ladder met the wall. Halfway up, he leaned back and loaded two arrows in the bow. He released them at the same time and got two headshots. They fell over the wall and crashed to the ground below. That certainly startled everyone. We all then backed up in surprise. Whoever this was, he was a master bowman. He loaded another three arrows on his bow. That was concerning.

The first man charged in, but he literally flipped from the third rung on the top and landed on the walls. Before the man could even turn around, the knight quickly swept the two legs out from under him and shot the man in the head. He did not blink as he did it. That was totally badass, but I could not say that and lower morale. From that same crouch, he let off two more kill shots. He then turned to me and said "You all are going to die, and it is much too late to change anything. Are you Canan Hawks, the Fowl Necrophile? I will hunt you down." I told him to identify himself first. He tilted his head slightly and narrowed his eyes. He had red, stringy hair and pearly white shark teeth. The mask was the same as Sir Blavier. He was lanky and his shifty eyes crossed the walls. I could tell that nothing would get passed him. "I'm Sir Wymark the Hunter, servant of Lord Gristomales and humble Standard Bearer of the Death Knights." The air chilled when I told him my name. "When I catch you, I will pin you to the walls by my arrows." he said. The knight certainly talked a big game. I was not going to find out.

Challenging him, I said "Are you only an archer? Do you think you can catch me at long range?" He just smiled knowingly at me. I saw no need to actually fight him. "Go get him! He can't kill you all!" I yelled as I pointed at him with my finger. All the men cheered and let out mighty rallying cries as they charged in. I was shocked and awed as Wymark took out all 8 soldiers. He dodged and kicked the men and only let loose an arrow until he had a headshot lined up. He was able to duck, roll, flip and sidestep all his attackers until there was no one standing between us. I just smiled. I guessed that the Death Knights were all super OP to compensate for the fact that there were so little of them in the paladin order. He just chuckled at me and said "Know this. I never lose track of my marks. Once I set out on a hunt, I do not give up my mission until I bring them back to the barracks. Either Dead or Alive." I nodded and said "If I wanted, I could fly away from here." He just notched another arrow and just shrugged. He said "You're certainly welcome to try it. I've never shot down a harpy before. I might miss."

I was not a fool. There was no way he was going to miss me. I just had to go in and fight him. He just smiled at me. I charged in with my falchion. I knew that I needed to keep the pressure up as we engaged. Wymark did his best to get out of the way and shoot me. I just made sure to run in zig zags. That way he would have to work harder to get me. I was slowly chipping health from him, but he was doing the same from me. He began laughing as time went on. I did not question it as it would make no difference. I knew he was insane. All the Death Knights probably were. As we both got down to critical health, it was clear that the next clash would be the final act of the encounter. "Still confident that you can keep up the hunt? You might meet your first failure." I said to get some advantage by putting him off his game. He was panting heavily and bleeding. Wymark shrugged and said "I'll do it, or be embraced by Lord Gristomales for my efforts." It was clear that he was to driven to be put off by me. As a Player, I had the advantage over him. That just meant that I could not make a single mistake with him.
