I had a chance to decide whether or not to accept the parameters set. I decided not to edit it aside from adding a bit more muscle tone. I didn't even look at the menus again. There were no other changes I wanted to make to the human form. There was apparently a centaur form I could use as well. I checked the settings for that since it seemed important. Below the human settings there were preset builds for the horse body. You could choose workhorse, show horse, racehorse or warhorse. Each had their own perks. Workhorse centaurs had a bonus to stamina. Show horse centaurs had more charisma. Racehorse centaurs had a speed buff. Warhorse centaurs had double the strength of the next highest which was the workhorse. The currently set build I saw in front of me was a workhorse. I chose the warhorse build instead. There was nothing wrong with the workhorse. It just was not how I saw myself playing. If this was going to be a centaur warrior, I wanted to be strong enough to fight. My body bulked up and filled out to go with the new setting. The body flexed and moved with the change.
.
That was a pretty cool detail. It was time to get going and play the game. I was surprised as my body morphed. The mirror let me see my whole body at once. It was not that strange. I always had this type of body. Taking a few steps was exciting. I did things like this often and I loved it everytime. Currently, I was in the human form. I looked around the empty space and saw a metal door. I walked to it and put my hand on the knob. A large gray popup appeared in front of me saying "You are leaving the character creation room. You will not be allowed to return here again. Are you sure you wish to leave?". I knew that lots of time had already passed. I wanted to hurry and find Suzie. I turned the knob and opened the door. It was a bright white light I could not see through. I guessed I was supposed to walk just through it to get to the game. I did and continued on for what felt like 10 seconds. The world needed to load in completely, I guessed. My eyes blinked and I was suddenly in the middle of an empty, sprawling plain. It was beautiful and I looked around for a few minutes.

With my gawking at the scenery out of the way, I thought about the map. It quickly popped into my mind and I sighed at the ease it came to me. That was a good sign for the neural link the operating system was using. It was easy to use. More importantly, it was intuitive. This setting did not track at all with what I was told by Suzie or what I had read myself in the developers' blogs. I groaned as I realized that I was not in Epic City. I was not even in the same world that the city was in. I was on a different world, governed by a separate server. I had read all about Epic City and the surrounding world, so I knew that this was not it. When I saw that I was in an entirely different world, I was very upset. "Shit! This is the last time I use the random function. I'll tell you that!" I had to say out loud. "Where the hell am I then!?" I grumbled as I bit my thumbnail. I looked again and saw that the world was full of grass as far as the eye could see. I needed to see what this world was all about. I pulled up the menu and read the encyclopedia that provided all the information for a given world. It was very handy.
