Every other month was the Boom pay per view. Picric had monthly pay per views. We were the second match on the card. We were still not really too highly looked at unlike Liam. Bryon, who was not in our match, was going to accompany Liam and Owen when they went out to the battle royale. That left us in the lurch when it came to the ladder match. I was fine with it. Ladder matches were my specialty. That meant that in the minigame where you try to pull the belt down, I would only have eight pips to shoot through the gaps to light it up. Normally you would need ten to pull it down for the win. Benson and I were getting ready when I saw Suzie. She was a face female wrestler. When she started out, she was a referee. She used her initial forty points to get an 8 in Personnel and a 6 in Speed and Power. Within a day of entering the company, she had become a 24/7 champion. She had won it 9 times. I thought that it was nice that she was seeing so much success. That let her get some good exp. and points. She was still technically a jobber tier wrestler, but Suzie was good at her job.

When it was time for the match, we went out first as the challengers. We were quiet and waited for the champions to come out. When the bell rang, we took the fight to them and that was a bad choice. They were stronger and much more resilient than us. I could see the writing scrawled on the wall. I rolled out the ring and went to get a steel folding chair. I brought it into the ring with me and began wailing on one of them. It was not that effective. It made sense as I only had a 3 in the attribute. That just meant that I had to wear them down with lots of chairs. A chair would break after four hits. That was fine as there were three at ringside and an infinite amount under the ring. I broke seven chairs on their skulls. People had noticed that I was the most ruthless out of the group. When I broke the eighth chair on one of their heads, this time, he gushed blood from his head. One of the Flames had set up the ladder and was climbing up. I ran up the other side. Benson was nowhere in sight. I grabbed him and slammed his head onto the top of the stairs. He was stunned and I bodily pushed him down.

He crashed to the mat below and I began the minigame. It was my first time so I was kind of slow. I had to shoot the pips through the rotating gap to get to the center to light it up. I got three pips down before they both got up. I sighed as I waited for him. The one I bloodied began to slowly climb. His foot missed the second rung on the ladder and he took a pause. He then slowly came up. I didn't wait for him to get to the top of the rungs. I punched down at him and kept punching him as he kept trying to climb. It was too much for him and he fell down. The other one took his place and came up. He was able to climb up without difficulty. I had a finisher up and I decided to do it. It was a superplex from the top of the ladder. That was bad. The ladder was not centered. I had to lean over to reach for the belts as they moved. When we came down, the rope dug into my back and I flipped over it. He was launched hard from the apron to the floor. I fell on my back and slammed the back of my head. I went immediately down to red head health and I could feel blood leak out my ears and nose. I was down.

The guy I superplexed was also red in the torso. It was up to Benson now. He was in the ring and the bloody guy were getting to their feet. The ladder had tilted on its side and leaned on the ropes. Benson charged at him and speared him. Benson got on the middle rope and did a diving elbow. He was down to orange health all over his body. That was his signature move. Benson was fired up and lined him up for his finisher. The crown was on their feet shouting. When he finally got up, Benson pounced on him and wrapped him up by the arm. Benson then threw him outward, causing the opponent to spin as he was already dazed. Benson smirked as he yanked him in for a high knee directly to the face. He went down and Benson went with him. He was totally out of stamina. I still was barely able to move. Benson crawled on the floor for the ropes. He pulled himself up and looked around. It was all clear for him. He took the ladder and set it up directly in the center of the ring and made sure that it was secure. Benson slowly climbed up the ladder. He was too slow and only got four pips.

As the guy climbed up the ladder, Benson just waited for him. They exchanged blows at the top of the ladder. The crowd was invested and cried out and cheered at each punch. Unfortunately, he got his finisher up before Benson and did a swinging neckbreaker of the top of the ladder. They both went into dark red which meant a minor injury. It was then that Oscar Ramon's music began to play as he appeared and walked down the ramp. He stomped hard on my chest twice before reaching under the ring and getting a table. He slid it in the ring and set it up. He then dragged Benson over and onto the table. It was clear he was going to pile-drive him through the table to end him right then and there. All of a sudden the ring went dark. When the lights cam back on, there were Lillies of the Valley on the stage. Oscar was focused on that and let Benson fall off the the table. Bryon was behind him on the table. He turned Oscar around and spiked him through the table with his Knee Lift Poison Rana. It was vicious and he glared down at him. He was then hit with a low blow and DDT on a chair.

I finally was able to get up. I got into the ring and gave him a clothesline. I tossed him against the ropes and did the Middle Rope Stretch. I held him for a ten count. He yelled and screamed in agony while I smiled. I threw him out of the ring and saw the one I superplexed got in the ring. I scoop slammed him and placed him against the ropes. A Handspring Kick laid him flat. I climbed the ladder. It was slow and everything hurt. There were only three pips to go. With my specialization, that meant I only had to do one. I focused and did my best to get it in one shot. It worked and I pulled the belts down. The bell rung and we were announced the winner and new tag team champions. It was all I could do to keep from collapsing. I took my belt and draped the other over Benson. He got up and it was pretty nice to celebrate with him in the ring. It was a hard fought victory and being the champion felt great. Bryon got up as well and we left together. I could tell from the analytics that it was a 5 star match. The twists and turns and the blood did the trick. I saw a tick go towards the Hall of Fame Checklist.
