Over the next month, the five of us were really busy. We were all interested in the 24/7 Championship and pursued it if given the chance. After giving it up to Liam on the next Picric, each of us picked it up at least twice more. I was a three time champion, Liam was champion six times. Benson and Bryon both only got it twice. Owen won it a total of four times. Our records were also really good. Since forming the faction, Liam was 7-0. I was 5-0 and the twins were 2-0. Owen was more of an enforcer and did not get as many matches. He was still 3-0. That meant we were undefeated and a strong force on Boom. That put Liam into contention for the Boom Television title. It was only a #4 contendership, but it was a marked improvement. That was good enough as the title would be on the line in a 10 man over the top rope battle royale. That was nice. Because I was in mostly tag team wrestling, I was actually not qualified to do it. Owen was however. Liam said "We'll work together and get me the title. From there we'll rule Boom." Owen said "Yeah. Just sit back and Let me do all the work. Nothing can go wrong."
He was being really cocky. Because the tag titles had not been defended in three months, they wanted me to challenge for them. It would be a ladder match. I was all for it. That meant I had to choose which twin to go with for the match. I decided to take Benson with me. He was pleased. Bryon looked a bit disappointed, but was quiet with us. Benson said "You'll get the next one." Bryon nodded and clapped us on the shoulder. "Bring home the gold so me and Owen can take them from you." he said. We nodded and got ready. The tag champions, the Flames, had a promo on the middle of the card. When they got in the ring, they began complaining to the crowd that they were being ignored by the management. "That's why we are laying an open challenge to whoever wants a shot at the title can get one." one said. The other nodded and said "And to make it interesting, we are going to make it a ladder match. So how about that, huh? Who wants a piece of us!?" The arena went dark. When the lights went up we were standing in the center of the ring pointing at the belts. We said nothing for a full minute.
When the lights went out again, we left two behind bouquets of flowers in the ring. Both had white lilies mixed into them. Mine had Red Spider Lilies. Benson had Lilies of the Nile. When the lights went up, we were holding our single flowers at the top of the ramp. After watching them freak out, we turned and left the stage for the backstage area. On the backstage television, we could see that the match was indeed officially announced for us. There was something really good about seeing yourself on the match up screen. It said "Rin and Lam Vs. The Flames for the Boom Tag Team Championships. Ladder Match." I went to the locker room and looked at my attributes. I had ranked up to level 6. I had enough points to get a boost with my attributes in the disciplines. Between my championship wins and my undefeated record in the ring, I had enough to put a full point in all of them. That put me at Strength: 4 Submission: 1, Endurance: 3, Technique: 3, Speed: 3.5, Diving: 3, Tag: 4, Charisma: 3, Object: 3, and Personnel: 4.
