Dripping with sweat, Randy finally pushed the mower over the last strip of grass. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but it did feel good to get something accomplished, even if he just wanted to collapse onto his bed right now. He glanced over to where Kayla had been laying out - she was now standing up, her back to him. She slowly bent down to pick up her short-shorts and pull them on, giving Randy a front row view of her perfectly toned bubble butt.

She pulled the tight daisy dukes up past her hips, giving her booty a shake as she did so to get them all the way on. Randy was enthralled. Was she really giving him a show? She had to know he was right there, he'd been checking her out with every pass he made of the lawnmower. Maybe this was his chance to make a move!

Kayla turned slightly to slip on her wedge sandals, and Randy could see the edges of her bikini bottoms poking out the top of her shorts. They barely covered her more than the bikini did, but it was a part of the whole package. Slipping her sandals on, she looked up, finally locking eyes with Randy. Then her eyes drifted downwards, suddenly noticing the tent forming in Randy's basketball shorts. Her carefree expression at once became a disgusted scowl. She rolled her eyes, flipped her hair behind her shoulder, and stormed back into her house.

You idiot, Randy! He thought to himself. Of course Kayla wouldn't want anything to do with a guy like him. He was pretty sure she already had a boyfriend anyway. Still, she'd always had a bit of a reputation as a tease. He sighed, adjusted his shorts to be less... obvious, and headed inside to his parents' cool, air-conditioned house. If only I could spend my summer with someone like that... he thought. As he walked inside he thought he heard a faint crack of thunder in the distance, but the sky was totally clear.
