The Yejolli ship went on to an island of their own to take over. I wished them luck. If they destroyed the coalition, it would only be good for me. Everything was then clear on the horizon. I gathered up my men in the keep and had Archer lead us to the temple. If we had competition already, Wendalia needed some treasure to get an edge on the market. If they tracked me, Suzie was probably already tailed as well. A treasure haul was also something to take my mind off of this setback. Wendalia wanted to be the first to expand our influence. We were now in a race with Yejolli. We would be able to take them out, but it would be very messy. The temple was on the opposite side of the island. There was a small community for the priests there. I thought that it would be the perfect start of a colonial settlement. Archer pointed at the temple and said "The riches are at the bottom of a large maze. There are traps and false turns at every step. We can blast it all away." he said. I agreed with him and instructed the men to apprehend the priests. They put up a fight and we had to kill them.

With them gone, I called two Battle mecha to enter the temple and go down. The rest of us went to the ship to watch the live feed. The rouges did not understand what was going on and were scared at first. We were accused of witchcraft until we took time to explain it to them. Even still, they stood huddled together in the corner, far from the screen. The mechas made it through the maze as we mapped it out on a large sheet of paper. For our first run through, a mecha went exclusively right while the other went exclusively left. I told them not to hover unless there were pit traps. We wanted to trigger as many traps as possible. It took us the whole day, but we were safe and we has mapped a good deal of it. We had them come back with some scratches and small dents, but largely unharmed. It went on for two more days with no success. I decided to spend another day on it. Bringing some back would be a really good thing for my prospects. We found a chamber in the the maze filled with gold and pearls. It took several trips to empty the chamber.

As promised, I gave Archer and his crew some pearls and gold. The rest was loaded on the ship. I told the men to take whatever could fit in their pockets and hands. The men were excited. "Nothing more. Anyone caught in here after today is getting shot!" I said. It felt good, but I had to prioritize the mission I was sent on. "We made lots of the progress already. I need to move on to another island." "They have much more than pearls and this small amount of gold." Archer said. "We should stay to look for more." I shook my head and said "I'm sorry. We have spent way to much time on this as it is. We haven't built anything or been back to see our other allies in almost a week. We need to get going." The rouges were upset, but there was nothing they could do about it. I had to chart a course for a new island to visit. I decided on Kopoi because it was close by and fighting against the coalition. I did not want them to get killed off or for Yejolli to get any ideas about expanding beyond what we had agreed to. We set sail immediately.
