I kept myself in the quadrant. I needed to stay around until the morning and I didn't want to go back to the guild office or the inn. I was not sure how hot the situation was and I did not want to get caught in something. I decided to explore the cathedral grounds. When I continued looking at the statues in the courtyard open to the public, a cleric came to up me. "Have you had a good enough look yet?" she said. I turned to look at her and saw she had a sneer on her face. I sighed and said "I thought this courtyard was open to the public". It was already the late into the evening. She nodded and said "While it may be the case, that doesn't give you the permission to defile or steal the statues. Please move along for now". Others had crowed around to see the commotion. I smirked and she glared at me. "Did you really think I would steal or defile the statues? How would I do that?" I challenged. It made it her pause. She sputtered and said "I don't know, I only know that I should stop you!". "Well if you have no way of knowing how it's happening how will you stop me?" I asked her.

She was red with anger as she couldn't refute that. The murmurs of the crowd showed that she was losing their favor. "Do you even have business here!? This courtyard is not a meeting place for your kind". "What is "my kind", may I ask you?" I caught on to what she was really saying. The people around were quiet as well. "O-obviously I meant l-lay people!" she said after looking around. I rolled my eyes openly. "I have an appointment and I was just waiting here until then" I said. She smiled in triumph and said "Oh really? Who are you waiting for? I am sure we would know if you had one". "If you want to confirm, ask Sister and Inquisitor Grinlack about me" I said smugly. It was nice to be able to name drop people in the city. It was a good idea to have helped them after all. She looked confused. "Excuse me. Inquisitor Ginlack? I know Sister Fionna and none of her three siblings are of the cloth. Who are you referring to?" I smirked and said "Broderick must have just recently finished his initiation trial. I only met them today, so I'm not too sure about their private affairs".

The cleric narrowed her eyes at me. "Fine! I will go get her. If they don't know you, I'll punish you myself!" she snapped as she ran off. I looked at the crowd and asked what they were looking at. They snapped to attention and went about their business. I crossed my arms as I continued to look at the statues. It took 10 minutes before she returned to the courtyard. She had what appeared to be the whole family in tow. I smiled and waved to them. As the waved back, the cleric stopped in front of me and pointed at me. "Do any of you know this creature? He says he had an appointment with you" she interrogated. Fionna and Broderick both nodded. "You got us up from our dinner for this?" one of the younger girls asked. Fionna stepped forward and said "Good evening. Allow me to introduce my family in full. You have already met my older brother Broderick". He nodded briefly with a smirk. She then pointed to another nun. "This is Simon, the third born" she said. I was confused. "We have to dress this way to stay in the cloister with Fionna. Sophia and I are novices. Broderick was too until today" he said.
