When they made it back the city walls, Suzie and I made our report. They were shocked and two garrison scouts were sent to confirm it. While that was in motion, two members of the garrison were added to their party and the next part of the quest was to head southwest to Plussel Village. They were on horseback so we made it there in an in-game hour. The intel was reliable and there was indeed 20 people milling around. Between the six of us, we were able kill all the occupiers. This group had kept most of the villagers alive. They did not fight back like the other village. When we assured the village that some men would be sent back to guard them, we set out for the city again. There was a bit of tense talk between the garrison men. "That means that it was all true. War is coming to Epic City" one of them said. The other nodded grimly and said "Giganto and Wetham are pretty big. It will be a real bitch to fight them off". The first groaned out loud and said "We're not making it out of this without massive casualties".

Arcolio and Rikra also joined in on the conversation. Arcolio said "If we fight together, we can hold out. The city is strong and prospering". Rikra agreed "All the guilds and knight orders in the city will have to pitch in to help the city. There's no way we'll lose! Especially if all the Yieldless do their best on the battlefield." The garrison members sneered at them. "Ah. I guess we can't complain if a 'taur and beast are feeling confident" the first one said in a bitter tone. The other waved him off. He said "Can it. If we're going to survive, we need every blade we can get to defend the city. We're the ones that are goin to be manning the walls, you know?" The chastised garrison man realized his mistake and went quiet. I wondered what Arcolio and Rikra thought about the human supremacy. I decided to ask them out drinking when we got back to the city. Suzie turned to me and said "Listen. I am not participating in any siege. I like going solo or with you. I'm not going to let NPCs take charge of me". Everyone looked at her with distain. "Where are you going to go?" I asked.

She shrugged and said "I don't know. Maybe go north. Across the river to the north is Delta City. I hear they are less packed with human supremacists. That's a bonus at least." I looked at how the garrison men were taking it. I could see they were very angry. "Well. I think I'm going to stay. I told you I wanted to see this to the end. We might even be able to join the Order of Lancelot if we do good enough". They looked like they had some opinions on the matter that they were keeping to themselves for some reason. They didn't seem to concerned about feelings before. We continued the journey in silence. When we got to the gates the Garrison men dismissed us. The popup rewarded us for the quest. We got enough exp. for me to level up to level 5. The quest line remained in my menu. "We have to return to the guild building together to finish our job" Arcolio said. Rikra nodded and said "Let's go and finish this already. I want to spend my money on some weapons and armor. We're going to need it for all the shit coming". Suzie said "David, you can take care of it. I'm going to dungeon crawl".
