She looked at him and said "So we're not going to find any rape victims in the village when we look around? You look pretty sure". He shook his head. "I'm not going to lie now. I know what I did not do. It's an occupation. Even a woman like you would know what happens during those" he said. Suzie nodded and dropped her blade. He sighed in relief and bent over to pull up his pants. She used that moment to strike. She slashed along his side with the blade. Suzie also kicked him. He yelped in pain and said "What the hell did I do to you". "Stay there. If anyone asks you, you were wounded when a party came to rescue the village". He nodded as he held his side. It was a shallow wound, but it was still bleeding. "Look sharp everyone. We need to go in and save the village". We then slowly creeped up to the main building. The door was locked and Suzie pulled out a lockpick. She looked at us and said "Arcolio. Rikra. If we go down, run and stay on the outskirts of the village. We'll regroup later on and go again".

They nodded and Suzie went on to start picking the lock. She failed the first attempt and the lockpick was destroyed. "Shit!" she hissed quietly as she pulled out a second one. This time, they heard the click of the lock and the smile on her face was priceless. She stood up and redrew her blade. Suzie then opened the door and she and Rikra went inside. Arcolio and I stayed behind to keep watch on the outside. Once the door was fully opened, we saw it was a simple large warehouse. The soldiers inside were stunned to see them. Before they could run for their weapons, the two ran in and began their assault. Rikra threw most of his knives and used his last two to stab and slash his enemies. He used his lithe and acrobatic body to jump and flip around the open space. Suzie got close and personal with her opponents. She slashed and stabbed them. When either of them were on low health and in danger. Suzie used a potion to heal her. She would also toss them to Rikra as well. I thought they made a good pair.

Even Arcolio and I got our own kills in. Some of them escaped the warehouse only to have us to deal with. We did not let anyone pass by us. When everyone was dead, took time to rest and regroup. "Let's go door to door and see if any of the villagers were alive. We did and found some survivors. They were scared and injured when we freed them from their bindings. They were going to starve them to death in their homes. Some already had. From what they said, they were attacked days ago. We made sure they got food and water before we left for Epic City. We had a duty to report what we saw. It was part of the quest as well as the moral thing to do. On the way back, the three hour time warning I set appeared in my mind. It made me go off step. Suzie said "Are we going to continue on with this. If we stop here, we can do something else". I shook my head. "I want to see this through to the end. We can give it some more time before bed" I said. It was a Friday night for me. Suzie was three hours behind due to the time difference.
