The new goddess sought someone who wished vengeance on Jon and found his goth sister Zoe.
Appearing in her bedroom, Zoe whirled at the sight of Karyn in the mirror.
"Karyn! How did you get in here? I didn't hear anyone come in."
"Simple. I teleported in."
"You... what?"
"I teleported in."
"That's impossible and you know it."
"Nothing's impossible for an omnipotent goddess."
"Wait... you're an omnipotent goddess?"
Karyn gave an exasperated sigh. "Okay, I'll prove it to you, then. What do you want?"
"What?"
"I asked you: what do you want?"
"Okay, I'll go along with this. Make my hair jet black." Zoe had tried to turn her dark brown hair black, but it never took.
"What, something that simple?"
Looking in the mirror, Zoe saw that her desire had been granted, even down to the roots.
"Okay, I'll believe you--for now. What are you here for?"
"To help you get vengeance."
"Vengeance? For what?"
"All the mistreatment you've suffered from Jon."
"What mistreatment? He's never..." Zoe trailed off as Karyn caused all the memories of Jon making fun of Zoe to surface. Zoe's eyes hardened. "Oh, yes. Yes. Vengeance for that will be quite nice."
As she spoke, her room vanished around her and she appeared, standing in the middle of Jon's desk, Karyn beside her.
"What--" she yelped, cutting off when she realized Jon might hear her.
"Oh, don't worry. He can't see us or hear us. We're sort of not really here anyway, but we're not anywhere else, either."
"Wait, what?"
"Don't try to understand it--your mind couldn't hope to comprehend it." Karyn kept Zoe consumed by her anger at Jon's slights so that she didn't fully notice such remarks.
"Now, how do you think he should be punished for those?"
"Well," gritted Zoe, "first he should become a goth, for all those times he made fun of me for being one."
"Easily done." Jon's room changed, as did he himself, clearly becoming the sanctum of someone who had been a goth for years.
"This will be great!" laughed Zoe. "If he knew what had happened, he'd hate it!"
"He would," agreed the goddess. "But that's not all he deserves, is it?"
"Of course not." Zoe remembered the times Jon had made fun of her for things like being on her period, or growing breasts, and another such female things. "He needs to know what being a woman is like. And he should really know what it's like--being hit on, leered at, having to put up with menstruation every month. And he should hate it. Make him an incredibly hot girl who just wants to be left alone."
Karyn waved her hand again. Jon's hair changed from its pure black to having blonde roots. His face rearranged into that of a beautiful young woman, and under his clothes, suddenly completely shapeless, a luscious, sensual form took shape. It was impossible for him to hide his large, soft breasts, riding high on his chest with no need for a bra. It was impossible to hide his tapered waist, his perfect, smooth arms and legs, and his round, firm butt. And finally his thoughts changed, so that he now thought of himself as Jan.
Jan looked in her mirror and wondered just what she could do to hide herself more than she already did. Nothing seemed to work. It was as if something were preventing her from being unattractive. Makeup applied haphazardly seemed to rearrange itself to enhance her beauty. Her ass-length hair grew back within days if she got it cut. Larger clothes just seemed to cause her breasts and butt to grow larger to be clearly visible through them. It was impossible to hide her beauty, and she was finding it harder to deny her feelings for both men and women.
Zoe laughed. "Let's see how she deals with that!"
Karyn smirked inwardly. Vengeance knew what justice demanded. It also didn't care. It didn't involve itself when there was nothing to avenge, but when it did, it did not care how far it went. But that was why it usually used intermediaries, for when they went too far, the object of their hatred must then be avenged, for vengeance liked nothing more than to have something to avenge. What Zoe had done to Jan called for vengeance, and Karyn was only too happy to oblige.
Returning Zoe to her own room, the goth girl still laughing about what she had done to Jon, or, rather, Jan, Karyn did not just leave. Jan was now, in her own eyes, a freak, a misfit. Although she could not know how it happened, she wished with all her might that whoever had done it would know what it was like.
Zoe did not notice her own change. Her room changed also, from being that of a hardened goth to a girly-girl. Pink dominated the room. Zoe's hair changed to a knee-length golden blonde, and her face became one that seemed made for sexual pleasure. Her breasts grew, larger than Jan's--Karyn made sure they would always be so, however much Jan tried to hide her own--and Zoe's clothes changed to show off her body as much as possible.
