Jon stood in the middle of the empty hall, wondering what he should do next, when he heard a series of voices.
He turned the corner and saw a group of people there, talking. He almost didn't recognize any of them.
Mike Matthews and Tom Welles were standing there, talking. Jon chuckled a bit. Mike looked like he'd shrunk in the wash and Tom Welles seemed to have traded muscle for flab.
He almost didn't notice the chubby girl at first. She was quietly blending into the background, quietly. He approached her. "Tiffany? Is that you?" He asked, nasally.
She looked at him, shy and nervous. "Yes," she whispered. "I...none of my friends are here..." She'd come hoping someone would be here to tell her it was all right.
Jon looked at her. "What's wrong?"
"I'm..." she trailed off, insecurely. "I don't know. This is starting to feel normal, and it scares me."
He nodded. "Is it really so bad?" He asked her, thinking about his own feelings.
Trevor Blake felt much more comfortable once they left the cemetery. He stayed closer to Zelda, feeling more comfortable with her than with Zoe and Sabrina. Zoe was starting to get awfully bossy. Who had put her in charge?
Stephanie, meanwhile, was feeling quite the opposite. Every so often, as they headed toward the town's one occult shop in search of answers, she heard Zoe and Sabrina giggling and whispering. She was certain it was about her.
