Three members of the party had been killed just like that. The fourth member, the mage, fell to her knees and trembled. The chimera stalked her confidently and crouched in front of her. "What now, you bitch Master? Are you finally scared of me?" it asked her. The mage was silent. It ran its bloody hand on her face as he purred. "I could savor your fear for days" he said mockingly as he smirked. Something seemed to catch its attention as it looked closer at her face. "Masters are so disgusting, yet they tried their best to stand out. You have fucking sliver eyes with stars in them. You really think a human has that!?" the chimera yelled in disgust. She flinched back and began to cry. It gave her a hard slap that stunned her. "You don't get to cry. I want those eyes, so I'm going to absorb you and take them. Masters don't stay dead no matter how many times I absorb them. It feels like fighting myself to keep their parts after they come back. If I lose it, its gone" he explained.
She shook her head and begged for her life. It just laughed at her. "You really are a piece of shit, you know that? You have infinite lives and I only have one. Guess who was hunting who until just now. Shut up and stay dead. I want those eyes!" The chimera yanked her up by the hair as its tentacles sprouted. She was still holding on to her staff and she slammed it into the ground. "I gotta get out of here" she said as she began to glow. The chimera tried to wrap itself around her, but an explosion with her as the epicenter erupted. We were shocked. I didn't know there was a self destruct spell. When the smoke cleared, both were on the ground. Her clothes were in tatters and she was barely moving. The chimera was even worse for wear. Some of its tentacles were blown off its body. Others were singed or fully burnt. Its skin was peeled back from the heat to expose bone in certain places. The left arm was also missing.
I was not surprised when the mage was the first to struggle to her feet. "I have to finish it off. Where's my staff?" she said out loud. She looked for it and found it twenty yards away. The mage began to stagger over to it. Before she was even halfway there, her legs were pulled from under her. A fresh tentacle coming from the chimera's crotch had ensnared her. Trying to resist, she scramed. She began digging in her heels in the ground and trying to cut and slash at the tentacle. The chimera was able to pull her, but it was clear that in doing so, it was in pure agony as it also struggled to stay conscious. "Fucking... Master" it panted. "Give up already!" it cried out as the tentacle gave the woman a yank. The woman was able to cut the tentacle that was wrapped around her legs. She kipped up and pulled herself free. "Fuck this shit! I'm out of here". She began running off. The chimera glared and said "I'm not done for! Damn you. You made me use my... true form, bitch". It began morphing as it screamed in pain.
Morphing the wounded and bloody flesh must have been hard. We were stunned into silence. The chimera had the hindquarters of a goat, the forequarters of a lion, and a set of dragon wings. Additionally, the chimera's true form had three heads, that of a horned goat, a lioness, and a dragon. The goat head was black in color with red eyes while the lion head exhibited green eyes. The dragon head and neck was black with golden eyes. It was all covered in torn flesh. It was grievously wounded and it was breathing heavily. Its dragon head reared back as it gathered fire in its mouth. The chimera then released their fire breath. It engulfed the woman and before she could even cry out, she was ash. The chimera then collapsed. Reiner and Elis ran to its side and tried to get its attention. After seeing what one of them could do, I was sure I that I didn't want to be on their bad side. Especially seeing as Reiner was supposed to be even stronger.
