His pants seemed to be absorbed into his skin. Just a popup appeared that he was in my party, we heard a group of footsteps. A group of five players with large swords and magic staffs came running up to them. "Have either of you seen the boss run by. He was a boy with red eyes and bleeding from his side". He looked at them and said "No. Why? Is he that dangerous? I thought you Yieldless had a handle on this type of thing".
They looked at him for a beat before one turned to me. Since we were just kissing they looked annoyed we wouldn't be able to help them. "Hey! What's your level?" on asked me. I told them and they cringed. "Be careful out here. He might not look like it but he's a chimera. They absorb whatever makes them stronger and they can become extremely violent. He became an improvised boss after the mages that created were killed by the paladins in a raid for heresy. He absorbed them and killed off the paladins. We have been trying to track him down and almost killed him, but he ran away". Another nodded and said "The paladins recruited young knights from the countryside to make up for it. That's good for them, but it just makes our time grinding here harder so we have been trying to kill it. Let someone know if you see it. We are going to keep looking before it gets away". They ran ahead and left them alone.

It said that due to the world being near infinitely generated, things done by not only the players, but also even the NPC's made lasting marks on the world. That led to there being a near infinite amount of quests. Even though once an NPC dies, it can no longer be revived, they can play very important roles in the grand scheme of the game if they got the chance to. A so-called "improvised boss" is an NPC that suddenly becomes aggro to a party of hostiles 10% weaker than it in a raid or dungeon. In that vein, there can be a real boss and an improvised one. "Those stupid paladins killed my creators. I was the first chimera they made. There were five of us. When they killed all of them, they tried to destroy us. One died, but we escaped. I found my creators and absorbed them. I gained power. I was able to get some of the others to work with me and three of us walked out".
Looking down at himself, he said "I'm using various body parts from my masters as well as a horse I absorbed. Help me get the other chimeras and I'll reward you". I could see he was level 34. He could kill me instantly, so it was not a real question. A popup for a quest appeared. It was seven stars. I accepted and said "I'll help you. No one deserves to be hunted because of the way you were born." The chimera looked shocked for a second before he turned and morphed back to the form I first saw him in. He climbed on my back and said "I told them to scatter and hide. All we need to do is find them. I'll tell you where to go. If you even think about betraying us, I'll absorb you". There was not question that he could do it. As we walked around for a bit, he told me to stop. "By the way, what should I call you? Do you have a name?" I asked him. He slowly turned his face. It was if he was going to kill me. "Why do you want to know, Master? Are you feeling bad for me?" he mocked bitingly.
