Eric tried to kill the thing after it bit him but it vanished and his cubicle neighbor Tammy yelled out and he heard a smack on the desk and a curse as a buzz flew away.
"Jesus this place is a dump, what's with all the mosquitos?" Eric said to Tammy looking over. "I should talk to the building crew, how can our boss work his magic in a place like this?"
"I dunno Eric, it's magic right?" She said irritated and typing away with an eyeroll.
He felt weird and said, "I mean Daddy takes care of the details I don't worry about it."
'Ohhh my god, Eric, did you just say 'Daddy'?" Tammy said covering her mouth, "You freak!"
She looked like she was about to burst out laughing, "Don't worry, I won't tell."
Eric seemed confused, why had he said daddy? and now that he thought about it it would be weird to call his boss father. Way too boring for his style.
