Linda was feeling...spunky, she felt an unusual energy as she walked into work at her law firm where she worked as a paralegal. Her work was mostly mundane and it would be something she wouldn't choose for herself but she had a family to take care of and it made her good money for what it was. Her morning started normal enough, paperwork, making calls, more calls. The lawyers got to do the exciting stuff, she was a support role, thankless and unnoticed, and there was a growing desire in Linda to be noticed.
She did get some compliments on her outfit today, which was unusual she thought, but then again, she did look good...and she felt good too, maybe it was the coffee she had this morning, she had pep.
During a break in the day around the water cooler she told Tessa about her strange morning.
"It was so strange, I was just suddenly in this teen girls room dressed as a cheerleader!"
"You sure it wasn't a dream? Sounds like a dream you would have" Tessa responded as if it was all normal.
" No, it was real! I had to wear it home, I can bring it in to show you." Linda responded
Tessa rolled her eyes. "You don't have to prove you were a cheerleader, we get it." and Tess excused herself back to her desk to get back to work.
"but...I'm not a.." Linda muttered to herself before returning to her desk for more work.
As she was leaving she caught of glimpse of herself in a mirror, and smiled, except for a stray hair. Was she going grey?
She wasn't. She was going blonde.
