"My sister had an emergency...like....high school stuff," Mikey said.
"Which one?" The girl asked.
Athena and Mikey exchanged confused looks for a moment at that. Neither of them recognized the girl, because they'd never met her, but she knew too much about them. In whatever was happening, would they stay in Middle School, or was it only a stop?
"Does it matter?" Mikey finally blurted out.
"No...but Gena is usually the one getting into trouble, right?" She asked.
"Gena?" He said, confused.
This time both Athena and the girl looked at him oddly.
"Mikey," a female voice said. "There you are. You took the wrong note."
He turned. It was Zoe...or rather, the black girl Zoe had become, followed by another twelve year old girl. "What?"
"You took my absence note and I have yours," she said, handing him the note.
"Hi, Mikey," the girl with her said.
"Umm...hey...you," he said.
Meanwhile, Athena was looking at Zoe...or rather Zendaya oddly, wondering what was wrong with this picture.
