Danny was in their grade but in a different class. He always carried his skateboard on him at all times. Danny wore sleeveless shirts that showed of his tattooed arms and he had a red spiked collar around his neck. He had a collar in all colors of the rainbow and in different designs. Neither Liam or Jerry had a reason to speak to him, but everyone knew him. He was the one who got suspended last year for skateboarding in the gym during a school assembly. He had a few skater friends, but he left school on his board as soon as the bell rang. Danny was walking towards them absentmindedly as he held the board behind his head. His bag was on his back and he looked them up and down as they stood directly in front of them. "We need help. Dustin is in trouble and we need you to open up a locker." Jerry said. Danny's eyes lit up briefly before it moved from the cheerleader. He looked Liam over and held out a hand. "You'll get whatever you want when you do it for us. We don't know if its even in the locker." Danny glared at him, but Liam held firm and crossed his arms. "This better be worth it. I was going to go in for homeroom." he said sharply. Jerry led the way, but realized that Danny was in no hurry. He continued on in his usual pace.
When they got to Jon's locker, Danny looked at it with a twinkle in his eye. "This is a really good locker. I'll take my payment later." he said as he set his skateboard down in front of the locker. He placed his ear at the lock and listened to it with his eyes closed. His lip's twitched and he soon smiled fully. He stood in the board and rapped his knuckles around the top and gave it an open palm strike near the tumbler. The locker slowly swung open and he moaned, very pleased with himself. Liam and Jerry yanked Jon's backpack out of the locker and dumped the contents out. The box fell out and clattered on the floor along with papers and pencils. Jerry tried to pick up the box, but it was if the box had weighed a ton. "Damn it. That stupid wish won't let me pick it up." Danny looked at it with narrowed eyes as he stepped to it. He used the board for leverage. Stepping on the board, he was able to flip the box right side up. He opened it and looked down at the stone. "Is this supposed to be a magic rock or something?" he asked as he reached for it. When he couldn't pick it up, he grunted and tried again. He huffed and looked at Liam and Jerry.
Liam pounced and pulled Danny into a headlock and said "Go for it Jerry! Quick!" Jerry dived for the stone and made his wish on his friends behalf. He touched the stone with his fingers as Danny struggled on the floor against his captor. "I wish Dustin was fully healed and only was mute when he wants to say something mean to someone important to him." Jerry said. He sighed and was going to wish again when the air was kicked out of him. Liam was on the floor holding his junk and groaning. Danny was standing over him when he kicked him harder in the back. He crouched down and said "You fuckers weren't going to pay me, we you? You must be desperate for that stupid rock." He rested his hand over it and said "I wish my Checkerboard and Lucky Clover worked the same way as this magic rock." He winced as his eyes felt a bit blurry. He then stood up and picked up his skateboard lovingly. "I wish you two would get on your knees and say sorry." he said. Liam and Jerry looked scared as their bodies moved without their consent. In unison, they apologized. "See you later." he said with a smile. Danny then skated down the hallway.
