"Not any more than you," he lied. He really wished he had his stone with him. Maybe he could fix whatever happened. But as it was, he'd have to wait until he got back home.
Stephanie thought about it. "Well, my friend went from a Goth to some kind of holier than thou Christian type."
"Karyn looks like some kind of gang member or something. Tattoos, bigger, maybe older...And I saw Sarah McMillan...she totally changed ethnicities....and told me Jay Duncan wants to beat me up..."
"Doesn't seem like there is any kind of pattern, is there?" Stephanie said, looking down the hall. "Shit..." she exclaimed.
He turned and saw Kyla, looking perfectly normal, but talking to someone who wasn't Goth, but certainly looked like she'd fit in more with Stephanie than Kyla. "That's....Nadine."
Down the hall, Nadine paused and turned to Kyla. "Do you recognize that girl?" She whispered.
"Yeah, that's Stephanie Wright....you'd probably like her...this you at least. The other you thinks she is going to hell."
"The other me sounds like a stuck up bitch," Nadine commented. "But, she's a Goth...Wait, are they looking at us?"
