Meanwhile, Jon was on his way to his first class, keeping an eye out for Jay (would he even be able to recognize him?), when he encountered Stephanie, who looked distraught. "Uh, you okay?" he asked. "Yeah, I noticed people being different too. My friend - Karyn. She changed, and doesn't remember me either."
"You have any idea what the fuck is going on?" Stephanie asked.
Yeah, actually, Jon did have an idea. That this was all his fault, because of that dumb wish he made, but he didn't want to tell her about that. "Not any more than you," he lied. He really wished he had his stone with him. Maybe he could fix whatever happened. But as it was, he'd have to wait until he got back home.
