He shrugged. "I'd rather not use the stone for trivial things."
"Okay, fine. But we can use it after school, right?" she asked.
"Sure, of course," he said. "But I thought after what happened last time..."
"That's why I want to use it," she said. "I can't undo this...but maybe I can fix it a little."
"How?" Jon asked, brushing a hair out of his eye.
"I don't know. But I can't make it worse, can I? Karyn said.
"I'm not so sure..." Jon said. "Anything could happen...guess we need to think about what might help."
