She woke up again to Sarah shaking her. "Wake up, Jordan."
She blinked, and stirred. "What did you call me?"
"Jordan...what do you think? You aren't exactly a Jon anymore," she said, helping the former male to her feet and over to the mirror.
Jon, or Jordan frowned. She'd expected a shock. But, none came. It was just her in the mirror. Intellectually, she knew she used to be male. But as she looked at herself, all she thought was, "That's me."
Sarah leaned over her ear, whispering. "The truth is...everyone has a male and a female side. I just brought the female part of you out. That's why it isn't bothering you. What you're seeing in the mirror is you."
"What?" she said.
"Well, it's more complicated than that. But that's all the answer you need to know. You are a girl. Also important...no one will notice. People tend not to know magic is happening, because most people don't believe in it."
"What? I don't believe you."
"It doesn't matter what you believe," she said. "Think about it. We're the most popular girls in school, everyone wants us or to be like us. Your sister dresses like a freak and hangs out with other freaks. They are just playing at the occult. If they really had any power, they'd be running things."
She stared at Sarah. It couldn't be that obvious, could it? After a long moment, she asked, "What about jocks?"
"What about them? Are they hiding anything?" She tittered. "Most of them are exactly what they appears to be...at least as far as I know."
"So why didn't you recruit one of them!!?!? You don't even like me," she asked.
"A sculpter has to use the right clay," Sarah said. "Now, you can borrow some of my clothes. But get dressed. And Jordan, you're one of us now. It's better to accept that. Not accepting it," she made a face. "You wouldn't like that."
