"Considering what you did, you're not in any position to ask why I'm stuck with you," Erica said. "So, let's move on. You're staying down here. There's a bathroom over there, nutrient bars you have to out on the table, and they told me you'll be sleeping more than you're awake as you change. Questions?"
"Yes, what will I look like?"
"I don't know," Erica said, shrugging.
Jon was about to respond when he felt sudden discomfort in the middle of his back. It didn't hurt, surprisingly, But, reaching around, he felt something hard and metal poking out. "What's this?" He asked, not able to look.
Erica looked. It appeared to be some sort of round incomplete metal coming out of Jon's body. "Not sure what it's going to be," she said. "I'm going out. Don't leave the basement. You'll scare my brother."
She headed up the stairs. He could hear her locking the door behind her. he stood there, wondering what was becoming of him, and if he wanted to find the stone and stop it so soon.
Then...everything again went black.
