Jon woke up on a couch in what looked like someone's basement. "Yeah, totally," he heard a female voice saying. "I know. Sure..."
He got up, stiffly...he seemed normal...he was even wearing his own clothes, to confirm his suspicions about the familiar sounded voice. It was Erica Weber, one of the cheerleaders.
"I've gotta go," she said, flipping her phone closed. She looked at Jon. "I've been saddled with the job of taking care of you while you change," she said.
"What? Why?"
"Because you're staying here with us for now, as part of your punishment." She looked at him, almost sincerely, and he realized, aside from the fact she was a cheerleader, he knew very little about Erica.
"Why here?"
"Considering what you did, you're not in any position to ask why I'm stuck with you," Erica said. "So, let's move on. You're staying down here. There's a bathroom over there, nutrient bars you have to out on the table, and they told me you'll be sleeping more than you're awake as you change. Questions?"
"Yes, what..." Jon started.
