"I don't know what they were punishing you for, and I don't fucking care. Are you going to make this work or not?"
Jon paused. He hadn't seen Zoe like this vulnerable looking since their father's funeral. It wasn't till after that she started acting all pissy and angry all the time. She was clearly worried about herself and Mikey. "Fine," he said. "But being in charge around here doesn't mean I'm going to cart you and your friends around...and unless you want cold cereal, I don't think you'd like anything I'd make. I'm not a good cook."
Zoe shrugged. "Deal. I'll make my own breakfast."
He opened up his bedroom door to get the stone. This was not what he signed up for, fortunately, he could rever...He froze as he opened the door to his bedroom. All of his stuff was gone...including the stone.
He cursed under his breath. He was in serious trouble.
