Jon had heard enough. He wasn't sure exactly how, but he had to use the stone to put a stop to this. Leonard had already gone too far. He started to reach into his pocket, but as he did so Leonard started pushing some buttons on the remote. Just millimeters from touching the stone, Jon felt himself freeze. He couldn't move a muscle, even to reach the stone. All he could do is move his eyes around.
"Can't have you running off. But don't worry! When it's done you'll see what an improvement it is. I'll even let you keep your mind. Well, as much as I can with... what's in store. Now lets get your companion in here..."
