"Grab that chair and squeeze in, sweetly" Jon's mother, Sandra said waking in with a tray with six glasses and a bottle of white wine. She places them on the table and sat with Karyn.
Jon looked at them, he didn't want his mother here, but he pulled a stall over from the bottom of the stairs and squeezed in between Sarah and Janet and opposite his mother.
"Oh I don't want to play, but you all play and I'll watch" Sandra said pouring six glasses of wine.
"don't spoil it, the games for mothers and daughters to get closer, I bought it for the six of us" Sharon said, as Sarah and Karyn rolled their eyes again in embarrassment. "Yeah it will be so cool, come on Sandra don't you want to be closer to Joanne?" Janet said supporting her friend and pacing the cards and miniatures on the board, six female pieces two red, two yellow, two blue and two green, each a mature woman and a teenage girl were all placed n the starting square.
Jon went pale, "are you ok sweaty? Do you want to head home?" Sandra asked looking worried. "No I'm fine, you all get started I just need to check something, excuse me one moment" he rushed back up to the bathroom. Sandra said, "I'll do it" Janet said smiling, picking up a card and reading it aloud "This game will last all week, mothers and daughters swap places until Sunday night" Janet finished, "Wonder how that..."
