It was after school, and Matt was stopped once more by the teacher. He looked tensely, wondering if maybe 'David' had said something else. "I forgot to give you this." The teacher explained holding a pamphlet.

Matt looked at the sheet of paper confused. "Hey- I'm not sick!" Only those who got the virus got those pamphlets! It was just a little bit insulting that he would get one of those things, and he had to have an aside glance to make sure nobody was looking.

"It's for you."

Matt looked at the tittle. 'When my friend became Sally.' What the heck?! This... was extremely embarrassing to have at school! He looked at the teacher not particularly enthused. "Uh.. yeah. Thanks." He grabbed it and quickly walked away. Sheesh! Why did he need this? He knew perfectly well how to treat David! Things were going to go pretty much as they always did. Heck, if anything it could be 'better'. He stuffed the pamphlet away in his bag to throw away later.

He walked away, wondering where David was. The rabbit girl had been in some hiding for the rest of the day. Matt's mind was racing... his friend had turned into a rather 'pretty' rabbit girl. There had to be some way to get something out of that-

Then suddenly (and at this point it was becoming quite weird) someone crashed into him in the halls. Matt groaned as he got up, half expecting it to be David, but was surprised to find it was someone else. A young teenager, about fifteen with ruffled black hair and darker brown skin. He didn't know him that well, a fairly reclusive kid if anything and a somewhat unassuming posture. Someone practised at keeping away from people-

"Hello!" the teenage boy said enthusiastically. "Ah- sorry. Let me help you up." He held out his hand.

so maybe not that shy? Matt was quite confused as he accepted the hand. He was even more surprised when the boy started shaking his hand with even more enthusiasm in a way that was totally out of character to what was typically known of him. "I'm Justin! I guess you don't know me. No- of course you wouldn't I'm from another class."

Matt looked at him. He seemed quite tall for his age. Socially awkward too, at best. " nice... to meet you? you can let go of my hand now."

"Oh!" The teenager looked a bit embarrassed. "Right. Uh... You want to hang out?"

Matt arched an eyebrow. "Huh? What's.. you game?" This was just... getting weirder.

Justin sighed looked a bit embarrassed. "Well... I guess I can tell you, but you have to promise not to tell anyone else alright? It's... an embarrassing secret, but I'll level with you."

Matt had the distinct feeling he was not going to like where this was going. He wasn't about to say he's always had a 'thing' for him was he? This was not something he wanted! "Oookay..." he glanced around wondering if this was some kind of weird practical joke. Actually when he replayed the last few minutes in his mind, Justin had intentionally run into him! It was a complete set up! It was hard not to think something about this was really off.

Justin glanced around as well afraid to be over heard. "I... heard your friend got changed into a rabbit-girl," he said thoughtfully.

"Oh... yeah," Matt shrugged. "Well, it happens..."

"Yes it does!" nodded Justin. " and well, it could happen again."

Matt rolled his eyes. "No need to be so bleak about it," Sure... two transformations in the same classroom, and one was a pretty intense change, poor Jon... but...

"Bleak? Who's being bleak! I want it to happen" Justin stated with an almost shaky voice.

Matt took a step back. " what?"

Justin however took a step closer. "Uh- well- I... kinda... want to get infected you see. I'm... a bit weird I guess, I just feel... well..." he trailed away not wanting to explain it further.. "...So when I heard someone's been infected, I try to hang about them. But obviously after they've changed they are no longer infectious... so since you haven't changed, I thought I could hang about you!"

Matt was about ready to punch this guy, but all he did was shove him away with as much force as he could. "I'm not infected! Get the hell away from me! You freak!"

The boy was shoved to the side of the wall but quickly closed in on Matt. "Please!" Justin said. "I'll do anything! Let's just hang together for a few days! If nothing happens I'll leave you alone forever!"

"No way- You're sick! Go get some help or something." Matt quickly left Justin, sweating a bit by that thought. Why in the world would anyone want to be infected? Also.. What if... what if he had become infected? What if being near David would cause a... "No," he said to himself. The chances of that were negligible.

...still, maybe it would be a good idea to stay away from class for a while. He collected his things from the locker, and headed off home.

Matt, on his journey home tried his best to forget the encounter with Justin. That... kid was sick. He felt more then a little reviled that he had touched his hand just to try and get infected... he rubbed his hand a little. He wished he could complain about it but... what exactly could he say? His motives were completely baffling. To actually seek an illness? But what if.. what if he had succeeded with someone else, and his attempts just infected him?!

He sighed and took a side street to get into a shop. He asked if he could use their toilet, just to wash his hands. He wasn't sure if it would do anything, and he knew it was extremely unlikely but... it still made him shudder. Maybe he should tell a teacher about Justin, before he hurt someone. If he wanted to be infected... well, that's just wrong in itself, but possibly infecting others by accident? That's far worse!

He left the shop... and saw a Jock across the road. The other boy saw him, and crossed the street to approach him.

"Dean," Matt whispered to himself. This.. wasn't good. Dean was a strong jock, and was not exactly nice to be around.
"Hey," he said to Matt.

'God I'm popular today,' Matt thought. "Hey.. Dean-man... how's it going?" He asked nonchalantly.

"I want to talk to you about Bunny Boobs," he said chuckling. "Word is your old friend has some... interesting assets. I want to know if it's true."

"Oh.. yeah..." Matt bit his lip. He didn't want to backtrack now! Getting in good with Dean was always a sweet deal. He was hugely popular with everyone. But then he remembered his promise to David... "I... shouldn't really say anything-"

"Oh come on Matt. Look.. I've got a party going, and we could use a bunny girl in it. Especially if she... put herself out a bit. Lot's of people will be there... including Sally," he grinned. "Of course if you're lying about it..."

" no- It's true! It's really true!" Matt said quickly. Sally? He would give anything to be in the same room as her!

Dean nodded. "Alright, here's the deal. Bring Bunny to the party, and Sally will go out with you. It's your one shot with her," he grinned. "I know you've been trying all those lame chat up lines to her, but I happen to know she's single again... so you've got a shot. Unless she found someone else at the party anyway."

Matt swallowed. Sally.. was available? This was a lot to think on. However was starting to feel very uncomfortable about this. Dean has not even called David once by name, just calling her 'Bunny', or 'Bunny boobs'... Still... it was just a party, what could go wrong? David was already being useful! Opening doors in all kinds of places! This is what he wanted. "Heh... yeah, I can bring her. She'll do it, I can convince her."

"Good.. we'll see you at the party then. We're all keen on seeing her."
