"I'm David!"

What? How could that be possible? He looked at her large foot, (the one that kicked him) as he slowly got up. He felt bruised, and was honestly surprised such a small thing could even do a hit that sent him into the ground. That kick was inhuman! "David?" he said wide eyed. It couldn't be! He just saw him yesterday. The virus... worked that quickly?

A lot of others in class was now looking at the two, eventually a teacher had come between them. "You two, outside my office now! The rest of you back to work!"

David and Matt were outside their teacher's office, both knowing they were in deep trouble. David knew though that for however much trouble she was, Matt was in worse trouble for those jokes. The rabbit girl was still fuming as she stared at her old friend. Matt for his part, didn't quite know what to think or say... or even do. He knew this had escalated to a point well beyond what it normally did, and to go back from this was going to be difficult. "...sorry," Matt said to the rabbit girl looking down a bit. "I... was just playing a joke." It was supposed to be funny... a girl with an extra boob was pretty damn funny, in his mind. Even now all he could think of a few scenes from funny movies. What was it? Total Freefall? Something like that.

The rabbit girl fumed at him, her ears flat on the sides of her head displaying her anger acutely. "I don't care. You don't have any idea what this is like!" However she felt a little pleased that she was strong enough to send his ass sprawling on the floor. Nobody was going to mess with her... not after that. She was small.. but her legs were strong. Powerful... stronger then human legs, and it was something she would remember. "You know what? I think the reason I said that to Jon was because I hanged out with you so much."

"Hey- don't blame that on me. We both-" he glanced thinking he could hear the teacher about to approach them. Waiting for this was torture! However the footsteps walked past them. The young teenager turned back to David. "We.. we both did that." He wasn't going to take the blame for that one too!

David didn't want to admit her own faults from before she was changed. "Alright. Fine. Yes, I did that. But guess what? I'm not 'him' any more, and I don't think I have to be. I can be anything I want to be starting from today and I'm taking full advantage of that. You're the one that's stuck being an asshole. You would be lucky to be turned into something else. Anything else! That's how pathetic you are."

Matt looked really angry and rose to his full height. "You Bit-"

At that point the teacher came in. " can someone tell me what this is about?" Of course she knew David had just 'outed' herself, to the other students. It tended to happen, one couldn't really keep a secret for long. Not unless they moved schools.

David looked to the teacher her cheeks burning. "He harassed me in front of the school, and made my day hell!"

"She kicked me!" Matt said back.

"Because I couldn't take it any more!"

The teacher looked between the two but then squarely at Matt. It was clear he had started it first. "This is a very serious matter... Matthew. The rules are quite clear. I will have to suspend you for a day, and this will go on your permanent record. If you do anything like this again, the consequences will be much more severe possibly involving your parents."

Matt blanched. Suspend? "W-wait- Please don't I'm sorry!" His parents would kill him! The teenager actually cared a great deal about his record. "It was just a joke and I know I went too far. I didn't know it was David either..." his voice became weaker. This couldn't be happening!

"So if you had known it was David you wouldn't have done it?" The teacher asked arching an eyebrow.

"No! Of course I wouldn't have!" Matt said quite honestly. Wait.. was that a bad thing?

The teacher at this point pressed her hands together. He knew these two were once friends, and had got into trouble before. It was the first time they were in conflict between them though. "Matthew... I'm really disappointed in you. However, I could give you one chance... assuming David would as well?" she looked to the rabbit girl, offering her a branch of power over Matt's fate. It was enough to make the teenager gulp, as he turned to David pleadingly.

David looked at Matt, with mixed feelings. On the one hand, this ass-hole used to be her friend.. but on the other hand, he had really hurt her. Still... she honestly didn't like fighting with him. He was looking at her now, with eyes of a boy on his knees. He was barely even breathing. Was she being a girl if she was... let it go? He didn't deserve another chance! But... maybe... maybe... just maybe... "I... guess." she whispered not sure if it was the right thing or not.

"Very well..." Nodded the teacher. "One chance. Matthew, do not waste it."

The two had left the the teacher's office and into the empty hallway.

"Thanks uh.. Bro," said Matt to David. "Really... I..."

"Cut the bro stuff." the rabbit girl said still annoyed at him. "I know you need a clean record to get into that college. That's why I did that." Her rabbit ears rose a little higher, now that her anger cooled. She noted they would probably be very expressive when she interacted with people. She couldn't control it that well... not yet anyway.

"I....never had a girl know me that well," Matt ventured trying to smile a bit.

David stared daggers at him. "Are you trying pick up lines on me?!"

"What? No!" Matt said face palming. "Just... saying the truth. You're a girl... why didn't you tell me it was you?"

"I tried! But then you got all crazy about... stuff."

Matt sighed. This was the most awkward situation he had ever been in. He really wanted to lighten the mood. Even if her had a pain in his side, that would take a few days to heal. "You kick pretty well... maybe you can join the football team."

"Heh," David smirked a little. Maybe.. Matt wasn't that bad. Now that he was over her transformation. Things could probably be a little more 'normal' between them... maybe.

Matt however, was deep in thought now. If David was a girl now.... there are ways to take this to some 'advantage of this new situation. But he had to get the rabbit girl on his side first. "Do you want me to tell everyone I was lying about.. you know." asked Matt carefully. He could try to offer her a favour...

David glanced back. "I... think it's best we just put it behind us. Just... don't say anything, any more about it."

The teenager nodded. "Got it, absolutely. Not a word," he said quickly. He didn't want to have her angry at him. He noted the rabbit girl seemed happier as he said this too. They were friends again! This...was good. He looked at her with a 'slightly' crazy gleam in his eye. "You know what? This is actually kinda cool. We could help each other out!."

David rolled her eyes a little. "I don't need help."

"Sure you do!" he said smiling. "Look... there's this girl I've been really trying to talk to. You can be like.. my wing man. Well- wing-girl? You could actually find out what girls think about us. Guys would pay for that stuff. You could be like the ultimate spy. You're a guy who looks like a real girl!"

David arched an eyebrow. "I've only had a few hours to think on this- however I am not that kind of girl." she looked to be getting ticked off. Does Matt even know when he was being offensive.

"Okay okay- bad example," said Matt quickly. "But... you're going to be finding out what girls think of me, right? You could probably tell them I'm nice... maybe throw in how cool I am... you know? Build up a reputation for me. You could pretend to be my cousin or something."

David sighed. "Matt, you're nuts. I'm not even sure how to be a girl and you're already talking about this stuff? It isn't something I can figure out just in a day. I don't even want to do that."

"It doesn't have to be one way- I can help build your reputation too! I mean... consider it my payment for being so horrible to you. I'll tell everyone you're a really... uh... what kind of reputation do you want? You know people will think you're a bit of a bully after today right? I can smooth that out!"

David groaned. Part of her knew Matt was being incredibly manipulative for his own ends. If anyone was the bully, it was him and she was sure most would listen to her. Still... maybe he could help out her reputation a little, as a new girl in the school. "Just.. tell them I'm a nice sort, and I'll tell girls you're.. 'okay'. Alright?"

"Thanks... Bro?"

"...yeah." David hoped she would not regret this.
