Starting the Quest

Jennifer sighed. "Fine, call me what you will, at least when I'm in this form. Now, just so I know, what exactly can -you- do?"
Karyn grinned. "See this?" She held up a silver wand with a gold star on the end. "I can use this to channel the same elemental forces you can use, only I can fire off blasts of pure elemental energy, instead of using a sword."
Jennifer frowned. "How come -I- have to use a sword?"
"You picked that sheet," Karyn reminded her. "Besides, elemental blasts can't do certain things that your blade can do, like cut something or serve as a makeshift lever if needed. Plus, you'll notice that it's light enough to be comfortable for you to wield."
"Fine," Jennifer said. "Now let's get going. The sooner we find whatever dungeon and get this powerup, the sooner I get to be a guy again."
They headed down the path to the village...
