(This is a reboot of sorts...based on our discussions...a different Miss Fine branch)
The doorbell of Jon's house rang. His mother, Linda, answered it. There was a woman at the door, looking to be in her twenties, with dark hair, and a serious look on her face. She wore a blouse and jeans, and carried a small bag. She smiled. "I'm Rebecca Fine..."
The cleaning woman that one of her friends had mentioned to her. "Ah...yes. I've been looking for someone since our last helper retired to spend more time with her grandchildren. I'm looking for someone to help with some cleaning, maybe once every other week."
The woman nodded. "Well, I don't mind a little hard work...I would say...I'll need some extra time when I start to get things into shape...and then I can just maintain it. I have a few clients, and I think I can fit you in. Would you mind if I look around to see how much there is to do, and then I can give you a price?"
"Of course."
Rebecca Fine smiled. This was the perfect cover for her research. No one would think much of her hanging around, and she could prove her theories.
