Jon spent some time turning the stone over in hands as he wondered what he could do with the stone when he heard the front door open and close. His mom must be home with Mikey.
“We’re home!” His mom called out, confirming his suspicions. Jon acknowledged his mother’s greeting by shouting something in return before turning his attention back to the stone.
Bored, and not thinking properly, Jon sighed. “I’m bored, I wish that something interesting would happen.”
As soon as he finished his sentence, Jon realised what was about to happen as the stone started to glow.
“Uh oh…” Jon started, trailing off as he looked the stone. He felt the need to close his eyes as he anticipated how the stone would grant his wish…
